A summertime surprise

One of the things I miss most about living in California in the summertime is all the yummy fruit that comes from the backyard. The plums and apricots have always been my favorites! So it was definitely a lovely surprise when I found this on my desk this morning.

Keep em coming Lindsey!

Wishful Thinking...

As I walk the puppy down the road several times a day, I have discovered some cute houses right on my block that Molly and Bryan can move into! I'm sure Indiana is nice, but wouldn't that be awesome if they were seriously like a two minute walk away? Which house should we choose guys??

A girl can dream, can't she?

For Reals

It's official. . . crazy!

House hunting was definitely a much longer and complicated process than I was expecting. You pick a house, pay for it, and move in! Ha. . . no so such luck. As you may recall, a few months previous I had a different post that might look oddly similar, just a different house. Sadly, after several months, that one just wouldn't work out. Then I came across the most adorable house ever. Made my realtor take me to that house, and only that house, LOVED it, and bought it! Well. . . it was somewhat of a headache as well. . . but its done. . yay!

We are officially all moved in. Ok. . . it still looks like a disaster in here, and it seems as if there are million things to still get accomplished, but considering we were able to squeeze our way in here basically two days before I were to be homeless, is definitely one headache avoided for Shawna.

How old am I?

Sometimes you make giant steps towards becoming an adult. . . like buying a house for instance.

Then you go out and make copies of the key to your brand new house. . .

And realize that on occasion, you might still slip back just a bit from that adult status.
