What a week!

The kids had a couple of weeks off for spring break, so did I, therefore, we decided to spend one of them together! Bonnie loaded up the car, and the kids, and met me at state line on Sunday evening to begin our week long adventure together.

After a fun little ride, and some dinner together, the kids, and ALL their stuff squished into my tiny car, and said good bye to their mom, then we were off!

Our week consisted of many fun activities. We tried to get out of the house every day to do something fun, then the rest of the time was spent at home, playing wii, or games, or watching movies.

We went to a huge trampoline place, Color me Mine, black light mini golf, and a hockey game. We also spent some time wandering the strip and playing in some of the arcades.

On Friday morning Molly flew in the join the fun (and give me a little back up). Then both Bonnie and Bryan joined us Saturday morning to continue the fun.

Sunday morning was Easter. We had dyed our eggs the night before, and the Easter bunny knew where to find the kids all the way in Las Vegas! We headed to a big baseball field to have our egg hunt. The kids sat on a big rock facing the street, while the rest of us did the hiding.

Bryan hid, and found the first egg. Seems a little suspicious to me!!

All in all it was a most excellent week. We had a lot of fun and hopefully gave the kids a memorable spring break.

What a neat aunt to take so much time and energy and I imaging, money for her neice and nephew. I wonder if Aubrey and Cayden have any idea how lucky they are to have such supportive extended family. We have one of those arcade places in our town. That one that showed the "1000" Carson and Carlos have landed on that each once and you just have to wait forever while all the 1000 reward tickets pile out- like a slot machine spitting out coins- just a little quieter. I love Easter Egg hunts- they are like looking for buried treasure. Good job... Love, Aunt Gail
